Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 2026

Our Commitment to a Safe Professional Space

BxCircle is built on trust, respect, and professionalism. These guidelines exist to ensure every member can participate in a safe, supportive environment. By using BxCircle, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Confidentiality is Non-Negotiable

This is the most important guideline on our platform.

  • Never share protected health information (PHI) of any kind
  • Never post client-identifying details — names, locations, physical descriptions, dates, or any combination that could identify someone
  • When discussing clinical scenarios, always use hypothetical or sufficiently de-identified examples
  • Do not share photos or videos of clients, therapy sessions, or clinical settings where individuals could be identified
  • Violations will result in immediate content removal and potential account suspension

Be Respectful and Professional

Treat every member with respect, regardless of their role, credential level, or experience. Healthy debate is welcome, but personal attacks, harassment, discrimination, and bullying will not be tolerated. Remember that behind every post is a real professional doing meaningful work.

Represent Yourself Honestly

Do not misrepresent your credentials, experience, or professional role. Role badges are self-reported and do not constitute official verification. Do not impersonate other professionals or organizations. Be transparent about your qualifications when offering advice or guidance.

No Client-Specific Treatment Advice

BxCircle is a professional community for peer discussion and support. The platform does not provide client-specific treatment advice. Do not ask for or offer specific treatment recommendations for individual clients. General discussions about evidence-based practices, research, and clinical approaches are encouraged.

Content Standards

  • • Keep discussions relevant to ABA practice, professional development, or career growth
  • • Do not post spam, unsolicited promotions, or commercial content
  • • Share resources that are accurate, evidence-based, and professionally appropriate
  • • Give credit when sharing others' work or ideas
  • • Use content warnings when discussing sensitive topics
  • • Report content that violates these guidelines using the report feature

Enforcement

Our moderation team reviews reported content and enforces these guidelines consistently. Consequences for violations may include: content removal, temporary suspension, permanent account ban, or reporting to relevant professional bodies in severe cases. We aim to be fair and transparent in all moderation decisions.
